New data released by TEPCO (Tokyo Electric Power Company) and itsĀ interpretations.

Fukushima Unit 1 was shut down during the March 11 earthquake. Even though it’s shut down, it appears to have “gone critical” without human intervention.

The detection of short-lived radioactive isotopes substantiates the existence of this inadvertent criticality.
